Tuning in to 2022 - Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!  In this first episode of the new year, I take a look ahead using numerology and cards.  I talk about the Universal Year number we just began in 2022.  We moved into a 6 year and I sum up the energy of a six year for you.  I also pulled three cards for the collective as a quick peak into the energy '22 will bring us.  *Spoiler alert* it's looking pretty good!

This one is personal.

In this episode, I explain why I have been away.  What I have been experiencing in my life is something I have wanted to share, but I couldn't bring myself to the mic.  After some self reflection, I realized it was because I was afraid to be judged.  This little community we are building together is something that lights me up and I guess I was afraid of losing that.  When I realized I was holding back due to fear, I let that go and stepped up to the mic.  If it means losing listeners that's okay.  I talk about a controversial topic....vaccine mandates.  Take it or leave it.  This episode isn't for everyone.  Now that I have addressed this, Spirit Talk will be back to usual topics for the spiritually curious.

This one‘s for the sensitives.

Have you heard the term highly sensitive person?  Are you one?  In this episode I talk about what in means to be an HSP in the clinical sense.  I acknowledge the societal deficit there has been toward sensitives, often telling them to "toughen up."  I do my best to inspire disempowered sensitives to reframe their thinking and befriend their sensitivity.  The world needs sensitives!  Finally, I define what a lightworker is and highlight the path from feeling "too sensitive" to becoming an empowered light worker.

A conversation with Jenny Miller.

Jenny Miller is an intuitive, an astrologer, and a breath work practitioner.  She is also a podcaster and hers is called, The Curious Intuitive Podcast.

The Spirit of EARTH

Another episode dedicated to an element...this time Earth.  I talk about what an Earthy personality is like.  Ways to use the knowledge of the elements combined with your intuition.  I recommend the film, Fantastic Fungi which is on point with the subject of the Earth element and its healing properties.

Anchoring positive emotions using the Earth - its a whole thing and I describe it in this episode as well.

A conversation with Mel

Developing your unique abilities

We are all connected yet also unique in our human expression.  Everyone perceives spirit in their own way.  In this episode I talk about discovering my own abilities.  I talk a bit about what being psychic means to me and how I discovered some of my own strengths.  Through anecdotes I explain how I figured out abilities that I didn't know I had.  I read an email from a listener about wanting to develop psychic abilities and give my feedback.

The Spirit of AIR

This is the first of 4 episodes dedicated to the elements.  The spirit of air - what can we learn from Air?  Some of the qualities of air are intelligence, wit, and comprehension.  In this episode I talk about using the element as medicine - calling it in when you need it.  I also talk about how Spirit can manipulate air to bring us signs - feathers, bubbles, sounds, etc.  This is the easiest element for Spirit to work with.

Calling in your soul tribe.

"The quality of your life is the quality of your relationships." - Tony Robbins.

In this episode I talk about the importance of being a part of community.  The spiritual path can sometimes feel lonely.  I tell about a time when I felt lonely and asked the Universe for spiritually minded friends.  I got exactly what I asked for and more!  Having done a bit of shadow work, I learned that I needed to learn how to access a wider variety of emotion and dare to be vulnerable.  So guess what?! When I asked the Universe for friends, I got them and they are all water signs!  I had no idea that it would be through friends that I learnt the power of emotion and vulnerability.  The Universe has all kinds of things in store for us....we just need to be open.
