A conversation with Kelly McLaren

Kelly McLaren is an Akashic records, angels and guides reader as well as a mentor for developing intuition.  In this conversation, we talk about Angels, Akashic records, past life stuff, self healing, imposter syndrome and more.  In talking, we discover we both have Catholic roots and we share a bit about what that was like and what we may or may not have taken from it. 

I ask Kelly, who has been working with angels for many years intuitively and for the last few years intentionally, "what is an angel"?  Kelly gives so much touching information about angles that really resonates.  We also discuss other beings that could make up a spirit team from guides, to ascended masters, to departed loved ones. 

I ask Kelly about imposter syndrome and how she moved through that.  She talks about her early days of reading for people using angle cards.  She was scared but did it anyway and found fulfillment in delivering messages from Spirit to people.  

Kelly and I also talk about the Akashic records and how she uses them personally and for others.  Here's a hot take:  She invites Angels into the records sometimes for a double whammy of self healing!  Wowza.  That's the first I had heard of anyone doing that.  Amazing right?!

This one’s about reiki.

Hi soul tribe!  In this episode I talk about my call to reiki.  I ignored it for a long time but the signs just kept coming.  Finally, I took the leap and started level 1.  I tell that story because I want people to know that their interested in things for a reason.  It can be part of a deeper calling and if it isn't a deep calling, at the very least, our interests help us to grow, they light up our hearts, and they can bring us down different paths in life.

Reiki is a specific practice and was created by one man, Mikao Usui in 1922.  There are a number of ways people bring in other modalities to their reiki practice as well.

What a powerful date!  Today I am giving a bit of an energy update.  What we have experienced leading up to this date and what we can expect.  Of course, I also talk about today from a numerological standpoint (obvi).  At the end I pull two cards and you get to hear in real time my shock at how in synch the cards were to my own message.  I am always in awe of how the Universe speaks to us.  

Watch your thoughts today friends!  It's a powerful manifestation day.  Also, be ready for beautiful energetic upgrades that we are experiencing in the collective.  We are headed toward a beautiful new world and new level of awakening.  I am here for it!

This one is personal.

In this episode, I explain why I have been away.  What I have been experiencing in my life is something I have wanted to share, but I couldn't bring myself to the mic.  After some self reflection, I realized it was because I was afraid to be judged.  This little community we are building together is something that lights me up and I guess I was afraid of losing that.  When I realized I was holding back due to fear, I let that go and stepped up to the mic.  If it means losing listeners that's okay.  I talk about a controversial topic....vaccine mandates.  Take it or leave it.  This episode isn't for everyone.  Now that I have addressed this, Spirit Talk will be back to usual topics for the spiritually curious.

This one‘s for the sensitives.

Have you heard the term highly sensitive person?  Are you one?  In this episode I talk about what in means to be an HSP in the clinical sense.  I acknowledge the societal deficit there has been toward sensitives, often telling them to "toughen up."  I do my best to inspire disempowered sensitives to reframe their thinking and befriend their sensitivity.  The world needs sensitives!  Finally, I define what a lightworker is and highlight the path from feeling "too sensitive" to becoming an empowered light worker.
