A conversation with Theresa

Theresa Watson is a medium and I enjoyed our conversation so much.  Theresa is a compassionate and kind person who has followed her calling onto a path of connecting people to their departed loved ones.  

Fair warning... Theresa and I discuss some difficult subjects such as suicide and still birth.

Energy games and Spirit Guide connections

In this episode, I pull a few stories from my own life and from readings I have done recently.  Do you every play energy games, or experiment with energy work?  I tell you all about how I did an energy experiment in my work for the man job.  

In a reading recently, I learned something about Spirit guides.  Something I never would have guessed and is something magical they do.  Thank you to the gracious listener, Kelly, who's personal experience and Spirit guide who brought through this information!  (tune in to find out what I learned).

I also share that in another reading, a guide reached out and expressed they would like more communication (nothing new there, guides say that a lot).  This person, Jamie, took that to heart and started to reach out to her guides.  No more than a week after the reading, she was seeing energy in the form of orbs in her house!

Evil Eye

This one's about the Evil Eye.  Both the curse and the protective eye worn by many around the world. 

I tell a story that took place in Turkey in 1999, when I first learned about the Evil Eye and received a gift from a stranger.  Was he sent by my Spirit Guide?  Maybe.

There are some fun facts about the Evil Eye.  I also share that Evil Eye came up in a reading recently.  Still not sure why exactly, other than a little girl needed it in some way.  

I talk about energy protection and that the eye itself may do nothing at all but the mindset, intention, and practice of embodying a protective energy sure does!  So, yes, the Evil Eye amulets work for protection...though it may be a placebo affect (which doesn't take away from the magic at all).

A conversation with Ty Campbell

Ty Campbell is a psychic, medium, empath, and energy worker who has worn many hats in life.  He is a husband and father who works in retail and walks a spiritual path.  Ty leads with his heart and is truly a student in life, taking lessons from each situation he finds himself in.  Ty and I have been a social media friend of mine for years now.  This conversation is really just us getting to know each other a bit better.  We started off this talk as IG buddies and left it as true friends.  In this conversation we discuss the following and so much more (in no particular order):

It’s my birthday!

Today is my birthday and I just wanted to put an episode out as a way of celebrating it.  Why not do what I love on my special day, right?!  And I LOVE doing this podcast.  Thank you so much for those who have reached out lately with kind words and to let me know they are listening...it truly makes my heart sing. 

Today I talk about celebrating ourselves.  A birthday is an excellent time to do that.  I share with you a little how I have celebrated myself today and I talk about a tradition I have....my year ahead card spread.  I explain how I do this, so you can do it at home.  You don't have to wait for your birthday, and December is as good a time as any for people to do this.

Spirit’s lessons for us

In this episode I share the top 6 lessons I have heard repeated from spirit over and over in different ways.  During readings, guides, departed loved ones and the sitter's higher self can come through with messages.  I am sharing the few that I have heard repeated time and time again.  

I also share a wee story about my 6 year old son getting sedated for a dental appointment and what happened when I put my hands on him for comfort (spoiler alert....I got a contact high!).

The time I healed my Mom

Story time!  I was inspired by the soul tribe community when a poster said "reiki is real." 

In this episode I tell a personal story about healing my Mom's kidney.  This was the thing that really made me believe that reiki is real and can be very powerful.  

This was also a lesson in making sure to manage my own energy, especially after reiki sessions!  I had to learn it the hard way...I got extreme energy sickness.  Now that it's all behind me though, I am truly grateful for the experience.

Moving through fear

I had planned to do a completely different episode today, but ended up sharing what was on my heart instead.  This episode is basically like my own personal journal entry combined with messages for you.

I talk about my own fears and how they have affected me.  One of the reasons I haven't committed to regular recording sessions for this podcast is because of fear of judgement.  In this episode I talk about how, the bigger the calling, the bigger the shadow.  Why we should move through fears to do the things that light us up (people's spirit guides tell me this all the time by the way). 

I didn't prepare for this episode.  I just let it flow and believe it or not, to me that is scary.  Some of the issues I'm working through in my real life are perfectionism, analysis paralysis, and fear of judgement.  Can you relate?

A conversation with Kellie

Kellie was a sensitive kid and she turned her abilities way down until she felt the call strongly enough and got enough evidence from Spirit that this was the right thing when she made the transition in her business from stylist to spiritual work.  Kellie talks about how her path has unfolded and how she is a spiritual course junkie.  Having taken a course on spirit guides, she can now see people's spirit teams!  Kellie also tells us about how spirit usually comes through for her via scent (clairgustance).  

Kellie and I discuss reiki and I have a real time lightbulb moment of the how/why reiki and mediumship often go hand in hand.  Dreams are another way that spirit often comes through because, similar to reiki, the mind is out of the way.  This leads us to discuss spiritual boundaries and how Kellie learned from experience.  Spirit was waking her up and night and it became so exhausting.  This is when she extended the boundaries she has in her life to her spiritual work.  Now spirit waits until at least 5:30 am to communicate.  

I asked Kellie about her philosophy on ghosts and as it turns out we have similar views.  This leads us to talking about energy clearing and the importance of owning the energy in your own home.  But what about spirits in the home?  Kellie says embrace it and feel gratitude that your family and spirit team is there hanging with you.  I couldn't agree more!  

Back to spirit guides, Kellie and I both agree that many guides feel they could be doing more, but the communication isn't there.  We discuss how to get in touch with guides and Kellie makes the excellent point that some folks are squeezing too tight, trying to control and not surrendering enough to the magic that our guides may want to come through with.  

To end off our conversation, I ask Kellie what she wishes she knew early on in her development and she comes through with a great answer.  Please enjoy my conversation with Kellie.
